AssICC vision
AssiCC primary goals are :
1) To support its members' internationalisation
processes
AssICC will:
- cooperate with FECC
(European Association of Chemical Distributors) in promoting
harmonization of legislation and regulations affecting the
sector;
- ensure that timely information is supplied to the member
companies about major issues and their developments;
- pay attention in particular to trasport, stock,
labelling, handling and safety issues;
- strenghten existing relationship with international associations,
thanks to a steady presence in ICCTA
(International Council of Chemical Trade Associations).
2) To influence decisions
AssICC will pursuit alliances with other national associations
in order to increase its leverage in public administration.
In particular, AssICC will:
- develop a steady partnership with Federchimica
;
- strenghten the available sinergies with all existing
associations of transport and packaging sectors, paying
particular attention to the problems of hazardous materials;
- use at best all the opportunities coming from
Confcommercio
(the Italian Associations of trade, tourism and services firms),
and from the close link with the Union of trade, tourism and
service of Milan.
3) To develop the association
AssICC will:
- arrange regular regional meetings (in cooperation with Ascom
organisation), in order to involve local resources and promote
the formation of active groups all over the territory;
- exploit AssiCConline portal to promote the Association,
not only nationally, but also internationally;
- strenghten its financial solidity, offering valuable pay
services and more and more qualifying its staff and focusing
on strategic issues.
4) To Contribute to the global evolution of the chemical
sector
AssICC will promote and support every initiative focused
on quality, safety and respect for the environment:
- enabling the complete diffusion of "Responsible Care";
- making of "Responsible Care" complete participation the
real sign of AssICC membership;
- guaranteeing the operators and selecting its members
in order to enrich this guarantee;
- promoting the spreading of these principles also in
other associations, to develop an integration process
that affects the whole chemical sector.
