REACH
REACH regulation, which represents
a hard commitment for the entire chemical market and that
will bring significant changes into it, is starting, and
AssICC has decided to offer aid and support to its Associates.
This complex initiative has been named
“progetto REACH” . Inside the
project there is the REACH
AssICC Committee which will suggest initiatives,
that will be accomplished by the Working
Technical Team, a group representing one of the most
accredited centres of knowledge on REACH.
The activities are
the following:
Information
through monthly newsletters,
detailed information by e-mails (infoREACH AssICC), a dedicated
section inside AssICC web site regularly updated and detailed.
Assistance
by phone, by mail
and meetings; predisposition and publication of 10 operating
documents about the duties provided by REACH; creation of
an information desk open at AssICC main office.
Meetings
/ Workshops
many are those who
have been organized in these past years, also on very specific
topics. AssICC has also participated, as speaker, at various
conventions organized by other institutions.
Training
for the internal
corporate training of AssICC Members, a specific educational
programme has been prepared and divulged.
We plan to set up
a more specific and detailed formative programme in order
to meet the needs of the different corporate rules which
will have to cope with this new regulation.
European
Level
participation, through
our European Federation (FECC), to various Committees or
Teams within the Commission and participation to conventions
and workshops promoted by many international bodies.
Local And
National Level
AssICC is today the
referential Association for all the interested subjects
who are in the Confcommercio (Italian Confederation of trade,
tourism, services, professions and SME) and Unione di Milano
( Milan district Federation of Trade, Tourism, Services
and professions) system. AssICC maintains constant and good
relations and cooperation both with the National Authority
and with other involved institutions and Ministries, as
well as other organizations (Regione Lombardia, Milan Chamber
of Commerce, InnovHub- before Euro Info Centre - a special
company of Milan Chamber of Commerce…) AssICC has a share
holding presence in the Centro REACH of FEDERCHIMICA and
ASSOLOMBARDA.
Moreover AssICC
has prepared , with the financing of Milan Chamber
of Commerce, a number of informative
instruments for Lombardy operators to improve
their knowledge on REACH. (REACH guide,
